Reno, Nevada - State Exhibit Building - Steamboat Springs - Winfield Park - SET of 3 - Postcards, c. 1920s

$8.50

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of THREE original antique C. T. American Art Colored postcards from the 1920s. "State Exhibit Building", "Steamboat Springs, 11 Miles South" and "Walk in Winfield Park" in Reno, Nevada.

"Here is the building papa and I sat in front of while you were in the court house listening to that case. Its used partly as a library now and the boy scouts have their headquarters in the basement in the rear. Billy and I went in here to look around and its really quite an interesting building" ... "-2- Today its very warm. Too warm for even my spring coat. I wore my black silk dress today, my new tan stockings to match with black slippers and I felt quite dressed up. It so windy tho' and the dust keeps blowing up in our faces. The water is getting low in the Luckee river and everybody is praying for rain. That's one thing I do like about Illinois, our changeable weather. This is monotonous sunshine most all the time!" ... "I don't know if I sent you this picture or not but I know you like postal cards so I'll send you this one. We haven't gone to the park for a few days because it has been so cold. I do my washing in my room now and Mrs. Monarch lets me take her board and iron in my room. She too says the laundrys are awfully high Line. I am glad she is so good to us. It makes it so pleasant and homelike. Love and Kisses, from Girlie + Billy", reads the note written across the backs of the three postcards.

The postcards are used and are in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, stains on the backs of two cards.
